Team-GPT Secures $4.5M to Provide AI Tool Suite for Businesses

As companies race to adopt AI, many struggle with integrating it effectively. Iliya Valchanov, co-founder and CEO of Team-GPT, aims to solve this challenge. Launched in 2023 with his team, Team-GPT offers a suite of AI tools that businesses can easily integrate into their systems. Unlike using separate subscriptions for each tool, Team-GPT provides a centralized platform, with a key privacy benefit: businesses can deploy it on-premises, keeping data secure and avoiding third-party sharing.

In addition to AI tools, Team-GPT offers online courses and enterprise features like platform administration. Valchanov says clients like Salesforce and Johns Hopkins are already using the platform, which has reached 45,000 users. Recently, Team-GPT raised $4.5 million in seed funding from True Ventures, Pact, and angel investors, including ex-OpenAI staff.

Despite being based in Bulgaria, Valchanov faced challenges raising funds in Silicon Valley, meeting with 85 VCs across Europe and the U.S. in three months. While competitors like OpenAI and Claude exist, Valchanov believes Team-GPT’s focus on mid- to large-sized companies seeking customized AI solutions with their own data sets it apart.
